Hello to all. I have diagnosed with clinical depression, and my treatment, I seem to have suffered from this for a few years. I stubbornly refuse assistance to year, until recently, plans have come into vogue to take my own life.
I) currently lithium 1200 mg, 600 mg of 5HTP, 3G Omega-3, and 50 mg of trazodone (cons insomnia. I am sad, inmates, and have often times intense feeling all my feelings at once.
I fear that the long time that I had untreated depression treatment requires a proportionally more time to recover if I did not. My question really surrounds the long-term risks and benefits of lithium for unipolar depression, compared to other antidepressants such as Paxil and Prozac. All views of ad idea is welcome. I have the information in medical journals that say that lithium is used successfully for unipolar depression, in some cases. I had not already heard, but it's interesting. It is good to know that there are more strange to the arsenal against this disease and confusing.

I hope you feel better every day. I had a moderate depression on / off in my life, but I've never contemplated suicide. I lost my father at the end, though, so I think it is a subject close to my heart. I hope you feel better every day.
In fact, lithium for refractory depression (depression that do not disappear with appropriate treatment) in combiantion with antidepressants. Since you already have) a tetracyclic antidepressants (trazodone, lithium may enhance their impact and to a depression that was not before. However, this was my first choice, unless the patient has been placed on various systems of first-line treatment to which no answer. If this is not the case, ask your doctor why you are planning for this treatment for her decision. Perhaps there is a component of bipolar depression, or he thinks that a high risk for suicide in question and want to take any chances.
